indeed, today it is not may, so i thought i'd pay, this site a stay, to welcome june, with a tune, for you to croon, to your nom de plume, as you vacuum, the spare bedroom. yes, slant rhyme and sunshine, and a Skinny Puppy lyric that makes me think of you. from Candle: "i'm sticking pins and needles in this stinging rotten fleshlike substitute pieces of half cooked meat that are walking on this earth. . ." :) that lovable, naifish ogre.

I used to work at the florida state archives with this really cool guy named Adam Watson. Adam used to be in this band called Beggar Weeds. According to Adam they were produced by Michael "Rapid Eye Movement" Stipe, and they had to meet him a couple times and Adam said that he was a weirdo that brushed his teeth while seated at the table in restaurants. I even heard, once, from an unreliable source, that Michael Stipe, TO THIS DAY, sleeps in the dark in an unpressurized bedroom with HIS OWN SCALP!! So because of that, or perhaps inspired by, but then possibly solely to avenge, Adam made me this mix tape before I left that had a lot of late 70's/early 80's punk and new wave that he dug back in the day and there are tons of great songs and bands, but two that stood out to me were a band called Killing Joke, because they are "badass" (even though a certain Fox show may be mismanaging one of their songs), and a band I'd never heard of called Penguin Cafe Orchestra, because they wrote one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard called 'cutting branches for a temporary shelter'. So like, this tape that Adam made me is the only thing I've been listening to for the past two weeks. How'm I doin'?
