i'm in new york, and man have i been finding the coolest stuff. cool knives for cheap as dirt, gyros and some bitchin cds. among the cds is the debut album by red red meat. it came out in 1992, but it sounds in places like something you would have heard on v89 in 1998, if that makes any sense. if you're going to try and download something, try to find 'snowball' or 'rabbit eyed.'
over and out of here

i only have 5 minutes left on the internet. then they gonna close the library. this sucks. i really wish i had internet at my house. and tv. and a sofa. a dresser would be nice, too, but whatever.
anyhoo, this is a slightly off topic post, but i found a super cool bar in town. bukowski's tarvern is located near the hynes T stop and mass ave. like that means anything to any of you. anyway, they have all sorts of good burgers, vegetarian food, 99 types of beer, and they were playing portishead yesterday when elizabetty and i went there. i haven't heard them in forever. what a great band. anyhoo, all ya'll keep postin and i'll try and keep checkin

cross country you rockre

Sorry I haven't been real 'active' in these group sessions recently. Child support's been piling up and I have to keep putting in overtime, and the bloodbank always has to know so much about my sexual and intravenous history. Some charity. Anyway, I finally made good on my promise to manufacture a rock, roll, recon mix cd. I tried to cater to our wonderfully (ahem) diverse dependecy group, but I can promise that you'll like at least half of the songs. Includes: everything from Wilco to Nazareth, JoyDivision to Leadbelly, Aphex Twin to Hawksley Workman, .. . did I say Joy Division? There are only like two or three that you'll have to skip every time, namely the Nazareth one. However, you lucky devils, you, you happened to find me here in Tallahassee this weekend. If you want one of these cd's, then, leave a comment for chrissakes! I will either call you because I have your number, or I will use the email that you left for my convenience. Be patient. I didn't finish all the cover art, so you might get yours just under the wire, but doesn't the anticipation make it all the sweeter? Oh I think my dime's almost up! Leave a comment. Bonsoir.
